Finally, the Car is Mine!

After what seems like years of looking, I’ve finally upgraded my wheels from the 1998 Honda Civic to my beautiful new 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5SL! If you know me, you know I’m very particular, especially when it comes to cars… so you know I’ve fell in love with this vehicle already! It’s a 2009 Nissan Altima in brick red with the SL, convenience, convenience plus and connection packages. I got my new baby home with just 22 miles on the odometer, so expect to see me driving it around for a few years!

From first impressions, this carĀ  is sporty yet sophisticated. I opted to go with the 4-cylinder for MPG goodness. (Mostly) fully loaded, this car hits the sweet spot on luxury and price. With 4.7 miles on the odometer at the dealership, it was begging to be driven.

Outside, the car is painted in Brick Red Metallic (new for 2009). Courtesy of the Convenience and Convenience Plus packages it is sporting stock 16″ alloy wheels, auto on-off headlights, power tilt/sliding moonroof and Nissan splash guards.

Moving to the interior, you will find the leather wrapped seats (heated with power driver’s, of course). In the console you will find the stock deck (for now) sporting Bose speakers, an in-dash 6-CD changer, XM Satellite Radio, Dual Zone Temperature Controls, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone and CD Text capabilities which link into the Steering wheel mounted controls.

Based on mileage, this bad brick puppy will be with me for quite some time.

I’ve been building ideas in my mind as to what I want, first step will more than likely be tint, or possibly a spoiler… and since my birthday is a month away maybe I can wrangle some extra mod money/parts from my loved ones. This will be my first official fully owned car, so I’m bonding well with it before I hit it with the screwdriver, but there will be more to come.
