Altima System Diagram: V0.1

I spent a good bit of time thinking about how exactly I wanted to implement my Subwoofer amp into my stereo. After reading and reading, I think I might have an idea of the equipment I will be going with. The Audio Control LC6i has just the functionality that I’m looking for, without being a little overpriced because of features I won’t use (at least just yet). I have aspirations of eventually going with an aftermarket head unit, but that is no where in the foreseeable future,  so for now, adding some low end to the stock Bose stereo will have to do. Without further adieu, the first pass diagram of my future system is below. The verdict is still out though, as I need to make sure these components will work as laid out.

Finally – Tint & Spoiler Installed

I finally was able to get my car Tinted this week. I went with 15% Ceramic Tint all around.  The pictures are a little shoddy, but you can also see the spoiler I installed a few months ago. The spoiler improved the looks of my Altima by a huge amount, and the tint really set the car off. Pictures after the jump…

How to: Run Power Wire in your 4th Gen Nissan Altima Sedan

  • 10mm socket wrench/ratchet

Finally, the Car is Mine!

After what seems like years of looking, I’ve finally upgraded my wheels from the 1998 Honda Civic to my beautiful new 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5SL! If you know me, you know I’m very particular, especially when it comes to cars… so you know I’ve fell in love with this vehicle already! It’s a 2009 Nissan Altima in brick red with the SL, convenience, convenience plus and connection packages. I got my new baby home with just 22 miles on the odometer, so expect to see me driving it around for a few years!

From first impressions, this car  is sporty yet sophisticated. I opted to go with the 4-cylinder for MPG goodness. (Mostly) fully loaded, this car hits the sweet spot on luxury and price. With 4.7 miles on the odometer at the dealership, it was begging to be driven.
